Folkeando och Tengo pa'l Truco(ARG/DK)

Argentinsk tango och folkmusik på en och samma kväll – en dubbelkonsert med den Köpenhamns-/Malmöbaserade argentinska folkmusiktrion Folkeando och den argentinska kvartetten Tengo pa'l Truco, som är på sin fjärde turné genom Europa.

Support Victoria theater

As a result of the pandemic situation that prevails with the spread of the new coronavirus and the covid-19 disease, the Victoria theater is facing an uncertain future. Culture is an industry that, even before the spread of the virus, has been characterized by small financial margins and low incomes. We currently don't know what this situation will mean for our business or how long it will last, but something that is quite certain is that it will not be easy, neither for society at large nor for us as a culture scene and culture workers; with everything it entails with the loss of ticket revenue, reduced audience numbers and personal losses.

We will do everything we can to get through this difficult time, but we need your help. Firstly, we appeal to you who purchased a ticket to one of the concerts that have been canceled, that if you have the possibility, not to claim back the money for the tickets or consider making a donation to us via Swish: 123 374 91 73. If you would like a refund for your tickets, notify your claim for reimbursement to Kulturcentralen at Södra Förstadsgatan 18, +46 (0) 40-10 30 20, info@kulturcentralen.nu at the latest one (1) month from the event date / day when the event should have taken place.

Folkeando spelar musik med djupa rötter i den argentinska folkmusiktraditionen med influenser från hela det rika sydamerikanska musikarvet. På senare år hämtar de även inspiration från den nordiska folkmusiken. Karaktäristiskt för gruppen är deras unika kombination av detaljerade arrangemang och den speciella känslan och rytmen i den argentinsk folkmusiken. Roberto Amerises gitarrs virtuosa och förfinade ljud; de traditionella, melodiska och urbana rytmerna från Fernando Massinos slagverksspel och bombo leguero; liksom Isabel Sciuttos uttrycksfulla sång och flöjter.

Argentinsk musik kan vara intim och stämningsfull, men också mycket rytmisk, energisk och glädjefylld. Tengo pa'l Trucos repertoar sträcker sig från klassisk argentinsk tango och folkmusik, till verk av den så kallade "New Tango" (Astor Piazzolla) och även mer moderna verk. Gruppen spelar också sina egna kompositioner, där tango och folklore smälter samman med jazz, kammarmusik och andra latinamerikanska musikstilar.

Tengo pa'l Truco består av fyra experimentella musiker, Damián Balarino på piano, Luis Hopúa på keyboard och munspel, Gonzalo Villalba på bandoneon, gitarr, bas och sång, samt Carlos Passeggi på trummor, slagverk och sång.

Konserten presenteras i samband med Sonamos Latinoamérica - Lyden af Latinamerika - 19-21/9, Köpenhamn.
