For more than twenty years, Caroline af Ugglas has been one of Sweden’s most cherished and versatile artists. She’s a singer, visual artist, vocal coach, and therapist – an outspoken performer who’s never been afraid to challenge, provoke, or move her audience. After training at the Calle Flygare Theatre School, she's built an impressive career that spans multiple Grammy nominations, international success, art exhibitions, and a thriving role as a choir leader and founder of the popular Kör för alla (“Choir for Everyone”) concept. She’s even designed her own line of shoes.

Although Caroline released her first two albums in the late 1990s, it was her appearance in the 2007 Melodifestivalen that truly brought her into the public eye. Her song Tro på dig (“Believe in Yourself”) didn’t make it to the final, but became a radio hit and made her a familiar name across Sweden. Two years later came the real breakthrough with Snälla, snälla (“Please, Please”), which – after a dramatic second-chance round – went all the way to the final and finished in second place, just behind Malena Ernman.

Outside her music career, Caroline has made her mark in many other ways. She won the TV quiz show På spåret in 2007 together with Göran Hägg, and the following year she created the hit TV concept Körslaget (“Battle of the Choirs”), inspired by her own “Everyone Can Sing” choirs. The show became a major success on Sweden’s TV4 and was later adapted for American television.

After the success of her album Joplin på svenska (“Joplin in Swedish”), which went gold with more than 25,000 copies sold, Caroline continued to write and perform in Swedish – with the same intensity, playfulness, and fearless expression that have become her trademark.
