
Bandleaders Per Ekdahl and Carl Bagge, together with their exceptional fellow musicians, create music that makes you alternately cry and dance with joy. Since the band’s inception, they have performed with artists such as Tommy Körberg, Lill Lindfors, Bo Sundström, Lisa Nilsson, Svante Thuresson, Isabella Lundgren, and Magnus Lindgren at events including the Stockholm Culture Festival, Stockholm Jazz Festival, Artipelag, UKK, and Berwaldhallen. In addition, the band has regularly performed for Stockholm audiences at the Scalateatern, establishing an independent institution in the process.
The band released its debut album, New Thing (Do Music), in 2017 with original material. The follow-up came in 2021, featuring specially composed music by none other than Georg Riedel. This album, Dance Music, was released on LB/Naxos.
The band was named “Big Band of the Year” by Lira in 2021.
