”En strålande jul” (A Sparkling Christmas) is one of the Hebbe family’s most in-demand concert series, having played to sold-out houses at venues such as Kristianstad Theatre, Spira Jönköping and now Victoriateatern in Malmö, as well as in collaborations with various regional theatre associations across Sweden.
The Hebbe Family consists of a unique interplay between the sisters in The Hebbe Sisters (vocals and dance) and their parents in Duo Sentire (cello and piano). When these ensembles come together, a memorable concert experience emerges, filled with musical magic that stays in the heart.
The Hebbe Sisters are the sisters who successfully swing their way through the music world, radiating joy and musicality in abundance. They have a strong affinity for swing music, but their repertoire also includes songs from other genres, which they deliver with presence, energy and precise vocal harmony. They are known from TV programmes such as Allsång på Skansen and Bingolotto.
Duo Sentire, with Ulrika Hebbe on piano and Lars-Inge Bjärlestam on cello, has extensive musical experience and has performed both as soloists and as a duo at international festivals in over 25 countries. The duo has appeared in numerous TV and recording productions and has represented Sweden at several international festivals. As Duo Sentire, they have been recognised for their interplay, temperament, joy of performance and ability to blur musical boundaries.
