The Serbian quartet Eyot has an eclectic and beautiful sound that transcends temporal, geographical, and cultural boundaries. They break new ground within so-called Balkan jazz by blending it with influences from classical music, art rock, and traditional sounds. The result is a captivating musical world that moves effortlessly between power and finesse, energy and reflection.

No matter how one chooses to describe Eyot’s music, one thing is clear: it embodies a rare combination of intelligence, emotion, and intensity – music for both body and soul. Their concerts are charged with energy and presence, drawing the listener into the band’s inner universe.

“Electro jazz rock fusion – you name it, they play it – full of energy and invention – a top class act” – Tim Dickeson, Jazzwise

The band has performed all over the world, appearing on some of the most renowned stages and festivals, including Midem in Cannes, Jazz Café in London, Motion Blue in Yokohama, Moods in Zurich, Cully Jazz Festival, Jarasum Jazz Fest, Umbria Balkanic Windows, Dubai International Jazz Festival, and Hong Kong Jazz Festival – to name just a few.

Despite their strong individuality, Eyot’s sound is often compared to that of E.S.T., Tonbruket, and the Magnus Öström Quartet – where virtuosity, atmosphere, and emotion meet in perfect balance.
