”A Night At Sailor Bar” is a live album recorded at the legendary Bimhuis in Amsterdam during the Amsterdam Klezmer Festival in September 2025, a night that captured the band at their peak before an enthralled audience and is now preserved on record. The music draws deeply on the traditions that have shaped the band’s sound: Balkan brass (trubači), tallava and klezmer. Original compositions are interwoven with traditional material from these genres, performed with the intensity and presence unique to a live performance.
In recent years, Folkdivizjon has established itself as a distinctive voice on the Swedish music scene. Their debut album ”Yes! Yes! Yes!” was released in 2024 to wide acclaim. Since then, the band has toured extensively, set audience records at the Korrö Festival and been featured several times on Swedish Radio.
