Iva Nova (RU)
With their combination of vocals, accordion, electric guitar, synth, bass, and percussion, they deliver a wild and powerful live show. If the accordion player picks up her instrument, she makes you dream of the endless soul and the calm of the countryside, before the music is driven forward with organ, effects, and reverb straight into the vibrant urban noise and feeling of the big city.
The band was formed in 2002 in St. Petersburg and made their first trip to Western Europe in 2004, shortly after the release of their debut album. Since then, they have toured extensively and played at a wide range of clubs and festivals across Europe. Over time, they released a second, lively and passionate album Chemodan, and in 2018 the album Uba Hoba. In December 2024, Iva Nova released their latest album Mnogonastut and have since been touring extensively, playing at numerous clubs and festivals in many countries.

Besides lyrics in Russian, Iva Nova also perform songs in Ukrainian, Bulgarian, and Georgian. Alongside their exploration of endless folklore, they creatively experiment with many other styles. The amazing live show of Iva Nova is a colourful mix of lyrical songs and energetic punk dances – pure musical anarchy!
