Since their debut in 2012, Louisa Lyne & di Yiddishe Kapelye have created a distinct musical world where klezmer meets folk song, pop and music from across the globe, placing Yiddish in a fresh and vibrant context.
Singer Louisa Lyne, born in Härnösand, is a leading interpreter of Yiddish and its rich vocal tradition. Through passion, study and artistic curiosity, she has immersed herself in the Yiddish musical heritage and developed a personal and expressive voice that has moved audiences far beyond Sweden’s borders.
