
In 2026, Marilyn would have turned 100, and in connection with the centenary we invite you to Karin Grönberg’s performance MARILYN. The production had its world premiere at Victoria in spring 2026, and now Karin returns to give us another opportunity to experience this acclaimed show.
Joining her on stage are some of Skåne’s leading jazz musicians under the direction of jazz trumpeter, bandleader, and arranger Mårten Lundgren.
Karin Grönberg is a versatile artist—singer, actress, and organist—and writes her own productions. She began interpreting Edith Piaf at the age of eighteen and has become particularly known within the chanson genre. She trained at Skara Skolscen, Ersta Sköndal University College, and the Malmö Academy of Music, and has previously produced PIAF & JAG (2010), MITT FRANKRIKE (2021), and JUDY GARLAND (2022), all of which have been performed at Victoriateatern.
With her productions, Karin has toured throughout Sweden and performed on stages such as Kulturhuset Stadsteatern in Stockholm, Göteborg City Theatre, Helsingborg City Theatre, Borås City Theatre, Västerås Concert Hall, and Uppsala Konsert & Kongress. In spring 2025 she also performed in Paris, and in spring 2026 she appeared on the podcast Snedtänkt med Kalle Lind.
