Zé Ibarra (BR)
Ibarra himself describes his musical journey as ”embroidering melodies through time”. His voice has resonated alongside the legendary Milton Nascimento during the farewell tour Última Sessão de Música, and intertwined with other great names in MPB. In 2022, he co-founded Bala Desejo – a group that celebrated the new wave of Brazilian music and won a Latin Grammy – which further confirmed his talent as a craftsman of sound and emotion.
The debut album, Marquês, 256, marked a new chapter in the singer and songwriter’s career and solidified his unique artistic identity. With a sound that combines classic Brazilian influences with new experimental elements, the album was enthusiastically received by both audiences and critics.
Zé Ibarra’s solo career has truly taken off with his second album, AFIM. He is currently touring Brazil and heading out on a European tour in 2026. With this album, he moves away from the intimate, acoustic guitar-focused sound to explore a darker and more visually striking musicality.
