As a result of the pandemic situation that prevails with the spread of the new coronavirus and the covid-19 disease, the Victoria theater is facing an uncertain future. Culture is an industry that, even before the spread of the virus, has been characterized by small financial margins and low incomes. We currently don't know what this situation will mean for our business or how long it will last, but something that is quite certain is that it will not be easy, neither for society at large nor for us as a culture scene and culture workers; with everything it entails with the loss of ticket revenue, reduced audience numbers and personal losses.
We will do everything we can to get through this difficult time, but we need your help. Firstly, we appeal to you who purchased a ticket to one of the concerts that have been canceled, that if you have the possibility, not to claim back the money for the tickets or consider making a donation to us via Swish: 123 374 91 73. Mark your payment ”covid19 ", all contributions are welcome.

If you would like a refund for your tickets, notify your claim for reimbursement to Kulturcentralen at Södra Förstadsgatan 18, +46 (0) 40-10 30 20, info@kulturcentralen.nu at the latest one (1) month from the event date / day when the event should have taken place.

Quiltys välkända signum av musikalisk virtuositet, personliga arrangemang och klangfylld stämsång är genomgående och de bjuder örat på allt från svängiga reels, jigs och hornpipes till smäktande känslor och drastisk humor.
Sedan den svenska folkmusikgruppen Quilty bildades 1993 har de närmast kommit att betraktas som levande legender på den irländska folkmusikscenen i Norden. Med sitt förtätade samspel och sitt egenhändigt framslipade sound har bandet satt sin prägel på den irländska folkmusiken och hänfört sin publik på konserter, festivaler, workshops, kör- och symfoniorkestersamarbeten.
På scen:
Esbjörn Hazelius – fiol, sång, gitarr
Esbjörn är känd från Jul i Folkton, Hazelius-Hedin, Eitre, som soloartist och från musikaliska samarbeten med Sofia Karlsson, Ale Möller Band m.fl. Esbjörn har även producerat och medverkat på Tomas Ledins album ”Höga Kusten”.
Dag Westling – sång, gitarr, 5 string banjo, tin whistle
Dag Westling har spelat i irländska gruppen Eitre, samarbetat med bl.a. Sofia Karlsson, skapat emigrantvise-projektet Thousands Are Sailing tilllsammans med Maria Misgeld, samt medverkat på Tomas Ledins album ”Höga Kusten”. Dag turnérar regelbundet som soloartist.
Gideon Andersson – bouzouki, bodhran, mandolin, sång
Gideon är en erkänd multiinstrumentalist och grundade Quilty tillsammans med Dag Westling. Gideon har samarbetat med så vittskilda artister som Sofia Karlsson och klassiske tuba-virtuosen Öystein Baadsvik samt har ett förflutet i symfonirock-gruppen Tribute.
Staffan Lindfors – kontrabas
Till jubileumsturnén 2018 har Quilty återförenats med sin tidigare bandmedlem. Även Staffan har turnerat med Sofia Karlsson, men mest känd är han som basist i Östen med Resten.
