Adam will release an innovative album at the end of 2024, where Michael’s drumming will play a central role. The album redefines the relationship between bass and drums, elevating the groove to new heights and creating a sound that feels both fresh and timeless.
To celebrate the release of this highly anticipated album, Michael will join Adam on tour, where their chemistry and musical mastery will be the focal point. They will perform songs from the new album as well as music from Adam’s previous records, in new arrangements.
Adam Ben Ezra was born in 1982 and grew up in Tel Aviv. He started playing the violin at the age of five before picking up the guitar at nine. After a brief period with the electric bass at the age of 16, he discovered his main instrument: the double bass. He began his musical career performing in jazz clubs and cafés, playing with local musicians and ensembles. His first breakthrough came in 2008 when his double bass interpretation of the theme from the TV show Seinfeld and his version of Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean went viral online. This caught the attention of the American record label CandyRat Records, which later released the singles "Openland" and "Flamenco" in 2012.

With over 50 recorded albums and performances at major festivals like North Sea Jazz, Montreux, and Blue Note NY, and collaborations with iconic artists such as Quincy Jones, Richard Bona, and Paquito de Rivera, he is now one of the most important drummers of the current jazz scene.
