More about the artist

David Urwitz is a familiar name in certain circles, while in others he remains a hidden gem. Urwitz is as much a storyteller as he is a musician. In his lyrics, he often captures the longing to leave small-town life behind and dream of something greater. His music balances between quiet melancholy and a glimmer of hope. This year marks twenty years since his debut album, "Det var väl inget mer med det", and he’s celebrating the anniversary with the release of his ninth album.

Over the past two decades, Urwitz has built a solid platform through his album releases and tours across Sweden and Norway. With a loyal following and his unique style, he is a regular and well-loved guest at Victoriateatern.

Perhaps you've heard some of his songs on the radio, such as Lycklig or the duet Bara stanna en stund with Caroline af Ugglas? Or maybe you recognize him as the sidekick in the radio show SöndagsMorgan i P4, where he regularly appears alongside Morgan Larsson.

A fun fact is that Urwitz seems to hold the record for the most songs that have challenged on the Svensktoppen chart without actually making it onto the list – a total of fifteen "bubblare" so far!

On stage:
David Urwitz – vocals, guitar, and piano
Stina Sahlin – drums
Julia Falthin – bass
Pär Öjerot – guitar

Picnic theater

This is a picnic event, or as we like to call is: Picnic theater. That means that you may bring your own food and drinks to the event.

It doesn’t matter what you bring – take-away pizza at one table is followed by oysters and caviar at the next. Bring what you feel like, and don't forget to bring glasses and cuttlery!

Please note that you may not bring food if you have tickets for the balcony, only drinks and snacks.
