
The acclaimed troubadour is now celebrating the 20th anniversary of his iconic debut album Pánico with an extensive tour and a re-recording of the album, recorded at the famous Ojalá studio in Havana.
Growing up under Pinochet’s dictatorship, García, like many other musicians, was forced to use symbolism and metaphors to convey political messages without risking censorship or persecution. Over the years, he has released numerous critically acclaimed albums, toured internationally, and won multiple awards, including Chile’s national music prize twice. In 2022, he also won the Pulsar Award for Best Singer-Songwriter.
His impressive career also includes collaborations with some of the biggest names in Latin American music, such as Silvio Rodríguez, Pedro Aznar, Mon Laferte, and Calle 13.
